If love is not enough, we need something better. If love is better than hate, why is there so much hate in the world? Love is the most powerful thing in the world. And if that's not enough, why have we given up? Even if we know we can't accomplish something, we still strive to get as close to that goal as possible. A student who takes a test without studying, knows they will likely not get 100%, does he/she give up, and not take the test? No, we still strive to do well despite knowing we can't get perfection. So why do we give up on perfect love and have so much hatred?
"No matter who you are, there is something, on some level, that you hate. Whether it is a conscious hatred, or feeling that a type of thing doesn't deserve love, or respect, we all hate something. But this doesn't mean we should give up on trying to learn to love that thing that we've viewed with hatred, or dislike, or distrust. We need love, for everyone. Love is the key, and even if we know we will not get there, we can always strive to get as close as we can. Try to love, that is all I ask.
